i'm thinking this can easily be fitted into that 'awesome potential of social disorders' link you posted to me. under narcissism, obviously. and yes, probably under the Male sub-category if there was one.

alistair

it also fits in neatly with the 'stalking' part of the Venn diagram, surely? :) Or at least into an area of potential interest for stalkers... it's kind of an element of narcissism that screams 'stalk me! please stalk me!' Or not....

A cursory click tells me that you are yet to own 'Touchdown' by Brakes. This is a situation that you need to rectify. It's a joyous thing.

Oh, it appears to have died already - presumably the weight of the traffic you've driven there has overloaded their servers ;)

I second the "Touchdown" emotion.

Would it not miss out the best (worst?) items that people own on popping-vinyl or sun-damaged cassettes? The ones that you don't want to or even dare not to convert to MP3? The horror...

tried to scroll down to see just how many Beatles' tracks you'd ferreted away but the sheer weight of the library(anoraks?!) nearly halted my pc.Mind you, I really enjoyed getting as far as Aztec Camera.Surely the narcissism category is a bit fierce - many share the same guilty pleasures - but, put me out of my misey...just how many Eric Dolphy tracks are there? I also wanted to see if - at last- you'd accepted that The Nightfly is a work of genius!!

alistair

you won't find any B****** tracks, i promise you. There is one Lennon song. 'Oh Yoko'. Which i admit i kinda like... Erm, no Dolphy i'm afraid, and no, i can't accept that view on The Nightfly yet... it still just sounds very ordinary to me. Sorry!

rob

I note your inability to even spell the B word! Please also note the wedging of tongue in cheek in my initial post.Trust the sportif preparation continues?
