Walking through the West Quarter (as a few persist in calling it) every day does mean I've spent the last few years watching it evolve. Shops come and go with a lot more frequency then in town, but you also get a much better sense of connection. On a sunny summer afternoon at 5pm, almost every shop-owner (bar the chav mini-mart) are out on their doorsteps chatting. The main thing holding it back now is the lack of a good drop-in pub (all the bars require/have bouncers of an evening so aren't really places you want to go).

Worked 8am to 3pm overtime this Saturday then bought Rough Trade Indie compilation.
Whoever put the track listing together needs either a hearing test or something more serious!
