I Was Running - or the welcome return of Alpaca Sports

Those who have been paying attention will know that Alpaca Sports have been perhaps my favourite new group of 2012. In the beginning was one delicious 7”: the sparkling ‘Just For Fun’ that bristled with the magic of April Showers. Then, just in time for Midsommar came the digital-only release of ‘She’ll Come Back For Indian Summer’; all Brilliant Corners and glistening lakes of silver and gold. Released on August 30th, ‘I Was Running’ is a joint release between the Luxury, Dufflecoat and Susy labels and is a limited run of 450 copies (100 with an Alpaca Sports tote bag available from Luxury). The first 7” sold out in double quick time, so get your pre-orders in sharpish.
