Apparently my resting heart rate of 48 suggests that I am an athlete. Either that or some waking dead kind of zombie. This is one of the delights of my new Garmin bike computer, which, even after one ride to school this morning I am delighted with. Looking at the data, I’m really surprised at the elevation change between home and school. When riding, you just feel like it’s an undulating route, whereas in reality, it is kind of uphill all the way. Not by much (only about 160 feet in height difference start to finish), but still. Anyway, my ride data is available online in my Garmin Connect page (see the previous post). You can also post directly into Facebook, or email to a blog which is rather cool. I may end up ditching my Bikejournal account as a result.
