Do you have a Geek Lair?
I love seeing pictures of where people do their creative work. Maybe it’s because I like to have a glimpse into the environment that helps to propel people, or maybe it’s just because I’m nosy. I can’t quite decide.
With this in mind then I’m proposing running a new exhibition on the Tangents gallery (www.tangents.co.uk/art) dedicated to pictures of the spaces in which people do their creative work. It might be a study / studio / work space / garden shed, or maybe even an attic like my own Geek Lair. It doesn’t matter. I just want some pictures of it… Close up details, whole space panoramas, whatever you fancy.
Digital photos, scanned prints or drawings, whatever medium you want to use is fine by me, but please read the instructions below before sending anything. And spread the word! Send this to friends and neighbours who you think might be interested. Let’s make this precious…
Submission instructions:
Emailed images are best/easiest for me: please save as a jpeg with the longest edge no more than 1000 and no less than 500 pixels long at 72dpi. Send to thisismygeeklair@tangents.co.uk
Alternatively you can post stuff to:
this is my geek lair

It's one of my major regrets that I actually dabbled with the idea of 'being normal' to the extent of getting rid of almost all my geek possessions.....something i am SLOOOOWLY rectifying by using a bookshelf as a residing place for action figures .....not enough to qualify as a geek-lair...YET!
